How to Convert JPG and Other Images to PDF
Updated October 9, 2026
Many forms, applications and offices only accept PDF files. If your document is a photo or a screenshot, you need to convert it first. You can also combine many pictures into one PDF, for example all the pages of a document you photographed with your phone.
Convert images to PDF in 4 steps
- Open the Images to PDF tool.
- Choose your images (JPG, PNG or WebP), or drag them onto the page. Add more at any time with Add more files.
- Use the ◀ ▶ buttons to put the pictures in the right order. Each picture becomes one page.
- Choose the page size and margin, press Create PDF, then download the file.
Which page size should I choose?
- Same as image keeps every page exactly the shape of its picture. This is best for screenshots and artwork.
- A4 is the standard in most of the world, and US Letter is the standard in the USA and Canada. Pick one for documents you plan to print. Each picture is centered and scaled to fit, and wide pictures use a landscape page automatically.
Photographing documents
For paper documents, take the photo in good light, hold the phone straight above the page, and keep the whole page in the picture. Then try the Scan to PDF tool, which can turn the photos into clean grayscale or black and white pages that look like a real scan.
